The first couple of times it was great!  The more recent excursions have left a lot to be desired.  The temperature of the sushi was too warm, the freshness wasn't as clear and the wasabi on nigiri is very inconsistent.  Sometimes it'll kill your palate, and others will be fine - even on the same plate.  Since our new favorite is just down the road, we always opt for it instead.

This is the best sushi either of us has ever had.  Why?  The pieces are extremely fresh and the ratio of topping to rice is generous.  Honestly, one piece of unagi had enough eel on it to make into two pieces at most places.  We had the caterpillar roll, which melted in our mouths.  We had the kani bomb, a cooked crab specialty, and frankly it was nothing exciting.  Stick with the traditional stuff.  There is another location in Highland Park, if that's closer for you.  This is close to the Milwaukee North Line's Lake Forest Metra stop.
