Rule #1: We ain't fancy.
We like greasy spoons, casual family joints and the occasional high-end dining. If you can't wear jeans, generally we don't dine there. We lean toward Mexican, Italian, American and Japanese cuisine most often.
Rule #2: We don't have to like the same things.
He likes cajun. She does not.
He doesn't put salad dressing on a salad. She thinks that's half the experience.
Rule #3: We are not on any restricted diets.
Sodium, meat, kosher, high carb -- we eat what we want.
Rule #4: Cheap eats is relative.
To us, it means we can dine there together (2 adults) for under $25, tax and tip included.
